The
porosity, pore distribution and the strength of the porous resin can be optimized
and adjusted depending on the requirements of various applications of the high
pressure casting process. According to the porosity the porous resin is divided into
different series, the following five types are commonly used in the ceramic industry: SA, MA, MC, ME and MF, this can satisfy the different demands for the high-pressure
casting applications.
